Joel Dommett joins Radio 2
Joel Dommett is the latest big name presenter to join BBC Radio 2.
He’ll fill in for fellow comic Romesh Ranganathan on Saturday 3 May, hosting the morning show between 10am – 1pm.
It’ll be the first time that Joel will have presented a national radio show, although he’s no stranger to a microphone thanks to his popular podcast, ‘Never Have I Ever’ which he hosts with his wife, Hannah Cooper.
Joel has become one of the most popular presenters in the UK in recent years, having hosted ‘Masked Singer UK’, ‘Survivor’, ‘In With A Shout’, ‘This Morning’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked’.
Covering on Radio 2 could proof prosperous for him; last year, Paddy McGuinness earned himself a permanent Sunday show on the station after filling in for Rylan on Saturday afternoons. However Joel might struggle to commit just yet, he’s just announced a massive UK tour which runs until November.
