Tina: The Tina Turner Musical at Curve Leicester was a fantastic experience that truly did justice to the icon’s incredible life story. The show told her journey beautifully, capturing both the highs and the deeply tragic moments with great sensitivity.
The young actress who played Tina as a child had amazing energy, and her voice was absolutely stunning. Meanwhile, the lead actress portraying Tina was simply outstanding-her range of expressions was remarkable, and she brought both humour and depth to the role. Her singing was to die for, delivering each song with power and authenticity. In fact, she brought tears to her eyes, it’s that uncanny.

The show transformed into a full-blown concert featuring Tina’s biggest hits, and the energy was electric. The actress playing Tina had the entire audience on their feet, singing and dancing along- it was an unforgettable, interactive experience.
Overall, this musical is a perfect mix of emotion, talent, and pure entertainment. The ending was quite a magical experience, and the whole audience will have gone home not only feeling entertained, but also privileged to have witness the most accurate portrayal of Tina imaginable.
