David Guetta and Armin Van Buuren are collaborating on a track

Dance icons David Guetta and Armin van Buuren are collaborating on a track for the first time.

The pair took to social media to reveal that working together in Ibiza had resulted in them going into the studio together.

“The love of music above all, that’s why Ibiza will always be my favourite place on Earth,” they wrote. “We come from different musical paths, but our passion brings us together… And gave us the desire to release a track together.”

The pair are teaming up for Guetta’s massive Ibiza night F** Me I’m Famous, which is hosted at the White Isle’s premiere live music venue, Ushuaia.

Guetta will be performing every Monday from June 3 to October 7 on the world-renowned open-air stage at Ushuaïa Ibiza. Joining the lineup will be standout acts from the cutting-edge of house, dance, and electro music, featuring both returning favorites and emerging new stars.

Ushuaia say: “His influential Monday residency is one of the longest-running parties on the island and is regarded as an Ibiza institution.

The upfront music program features special guests handpicked by David Guetta himself to embody the energy and ethos of the island’s most glamorous residency. Jaw-dropping production and spectacular performers make this an immersive journey into the world of the global tastemaker where the memories last a lifetime”.

There’s no confirmation as to when Guetta and Buuren’s track will be released but it’s likely to drop in the coming weeks.
