  • Colin From Accounts will end with season three.

  • Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall have confirmed the series’ conclusion.

  • The final season premieres in Australia on July 27 on Binge.

  • In the UK, the comedy airs on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.

  • The series has become one of Australia’s biggest television exports.

The much-loved romantic comedy follows Ashley and Gordon, two very different single people whose lives are unexpectedly thrown together after a car accident leaves an injured border terrier in need of a new home. As they reluctantly adopt the dog, Colin, the unlikely pair begin navigating the highs and lows of an unconventional relationship, with the series blending heartfelt romance, awkward comedy and sharp observational humour.

Co-creators and stars Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall, who play the mismatched Sydney couple, confirmed that the third season will be the show’s last. The announcement was made alongside production company Easy Tiger and Australian streaming service Binge, which also revealed that the final season will debut in Australia on July 27.

Speaking about the decision to bring the series to an end, Dyer and Brammall said:

“Creatively it feels like the right time to say goodbye to Colin From Accounts after three seasons.

“We love everything about making this show. From writing all 24 episodes and producing with our amazing partners at Easy Tiger, to acting on set with our brilliant cast and spunky crew, to sitting in the edit with our wonderful post team where we are currently wrapping things up. We’re going to miss making this show terribly, but we hope you love season three as much as we do. Thank you for watching, it means the world.”

Since premiering in 2022, Colin From Accounts has earned widespread critical acclaim and built a devoted international fanbase. Dyer and Brammall not only star in the series but also created and wrote every episode, helping establish it as Binge’s most successful original drama-comedy.

Meanwhile, UK audiences have embraced the series on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer, where it has developed a loyal cult following thanks to its witty writing, relatable characters and refreshingly honest portrayal of modern relationships.

Although streaming services rarely publish viewing figures, Colin From Accounts has enjoyed significant cultural success across multiple territories and has picked up numerous industry awards during its run.

With one final season on the way, fans will soon discover how Ashley, Gordon and, of course, Colin’s story comes to an end as one of Australia’s most celebrated recent comedies bows out.
