- Calvin Harris’ major Hampden Park homecoming show will be broadcast across the BBC on Saturday 1 August

Calvin Harris’ highly anticipated homecoming concert at Glasgow’s Hampden Park is set to reach millions of fans across the UK, with the BBC and Sony Music Vision confirming the landmark performance will be broadcast live on television, radio and digital platforms.
The Scottish DJ, producer and global dance music star will take to the stage on Saturday 1 August for what promises to be one of the biggest live music events of the summer. Viewers will be able to watch exclusively on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, while the concert will also air on BBC Radio 1, Radio 1 Dance and BBC Sounds. Coverage will be produced by BBC Studios Music Productions.
The Hampden Park performance will see Harris return to Scotland for a career-spanning set featuring many of the chart-topping tracks that have made him one of the world’s most successful electronic music artists. The concert is expected to showcase spectacular visuals and production while celebrating his journey from Scottish producer to international superstar.
Before the main event, BBC iPlayer will kick off an evening dedicated to dance music from 6.30pm, featuring highlights from Radio 1 in Ibiza the previous night to build excitement ahead of the Glasgow concert.
The BBC has been closely associated with Calvin Harris throughout his career, supporting him from his early appearances at Radio 1 in Ibiza through to seven performances at Radio 1’s Big Weekend, including shows in Glasgow in 2014 and his headline performance in Coventry in 2022.

The live concert forms part of the BBC’s Summer of Music 2026, a season featuring live performances, exclusive music programming, documentaries and festival coverage throughout the summer.
Alongside Calvin Harris’ homecoming show, audiences can look forward to exclusive performances from Charli xcx and Sam Smith, while new documentaries exploring the lives and careers of music legends Madonna, Wham! and David Bowie are also planned. The season will also include coverage from some of the UK’s biggest music events, including Reading & Leeds Festival, Boomtown, Radio 2 in the Park, the BBC Proms, Radio 1 in Malta, Radio 1 in Ibiza and 1Xtra Salutes Carnival.
